Pledges raised support Big Brothers mentoring programs. Bowlers are asked to raise a minimum $50 each and only need to raise $150 to earn an incentive prize. It’s easy. Just be creative and have fun. Here are some ideas to help you get started right away?

- Email your online pledge form to everyone (colleagues, clients, friends and family) you know
- Send fun emails from your personal online pledging page
- Carry your pledge book wherever you go
- Hold a tropical fundraising event in your office every Friday
- Sell 50/50 tickets or raffle off the boss’ parking space for a day
- Keep a collection coconut on your desk
- Gather donations and put together a theme basket for raffle, including Jamaican Rum, sunglasses or a Loveboat DVD box set
- Challenge co-workers or other departments to raise the most pledges
- Set a company goal, publicize it and keep the office informed on the progress
- Set a personal goal to win a great incentive prize
- Wear a conversation piece – flippers or a grass skirt!
